The big idea
Chapter I
The teacher
Before business, there was a classroom. Three years of teaching History & Geography taught me more about people than any course could.

Chapter II
The journey
Fourteen places, told by the compass rather than the calendar: south to the sun, across the Atlantic, into the Arctic and up the Baltic, to the one that changed everything. Strap in.

Final destination
Oulu, Finland
Spring 2026. An Erasmus+ semester at the University of Oulu, less than two hundred kilometres from the Arctic Circle.
This is where my world opened. I met people from every corner of the map: real people, with real dreams and real passion. I'm still in touch with them today.
Messages from the friends I made here: coming soon.
Chapter III
The builder
Ideas are cheap until someone uses them. These are the ones I took all the way. Pull a file from the drawer.

Herodocus

The question
Students meet more sources in a day than ever before, but rarely ask who made one, when, and why. Source criticism is usually taught as a checklist. I wanted them to feel it.
What I built
A two-day investigation. Players move between five locations — the lab, the headquarters, the archive, the university and the field — on an hour-by-hour timeline. They chase leads, question sources, meet halfway, and end by writing one final report together. The physical game comes with a web platform I built myself using AI-assisted development.

Brasserie Rhodesgoed
I've carried plates there since 2021. Then I rebuilt their website.

The brief
A busy brasserie needed a modern website with online reservations, without a development budget.
What I built
A new website with online booking, designed and built by me with AI-assisted development.
The inside view
Working the floor every weekend meant I wasn't guessing who the site was for. I knew the guests, the questions they ask, and the team that has to live with the result.

Chapter IV
The student
Always stay a student. Thirteen books that rearranged how I think, guarded by the man who started it all. Pull one off the shelf.
Drag to turn the book
Chapter V
After hours
When the work is done, I play. Seventy-one songs on the piano; these thirteen I can play from start to finish. Pick a record.
Hover a record to read it, click to play it.

Why I look up

Since I was a kid, I've looked up every time a jet flew over.
